It was in the year 2000, tucked away in the snowy Swiss Alps, that the first from Underschool Element were beginning to be heard. After a year of concerts and composing, the band came out with their first recorded material. This was the birth of the “The 8th Dwarf” (2001). This first production brought them to the attention of a greater audience and they were soon awarded the prize for the most promising Swiss talent by M4Music 2002 in Zurich.
By 2004 Underschool Element had recorded their first album (“Rien de Plus”). Since then the band has continued touring and was awarded, in November 2004, first place during the “Tremplin Rock, La nouvelle Generation” in Paris. In November 2005, the national TV centre (Television Suisse Romande) invited Underschool Element for a recording of a 40 minutes concert.
By 2007 Underschool Element had recorded their second album (“Tango”). This one was recorded in a way more spontaneous than the first album.
